Roubiliac Portrait Busts

Conservation of two marble portrait busts: Alexander Pope (1741) and Issaac Newton (1760) carved by Louis Francois Roubiliac (1702-1762). Work involved the investigation of the surfaces, careful cleaning, improvement of previous repairs, comprehensive documentation and close collaboration with Client and Curator in order to prepare the busts for the 2014 Exhibition 'Fame and Friendship', at Waddesdon Manor.
